The shallow and deep end of the pool of life…

I was having a conversation with one of my spiritual like minded peeps on the phone in the wee hours past the hour of midnight, where the veil of this world is much thinner. There is something about that kind of energy when one is communicating because the wave of energy is less jumbled with mundane thoughts, and tends to take a dive way into deep end of the waters. I love this time. For it is a time of magic and transparency. We were speaking about the subject of pain, and how we both concurred how pain is the revealing of our real journey to the divine. Yet so many take action, and gear their thoughts to the avoidance of what it represents, because in pain we feel we have failed, or are less fortunate by its feeling. I have often said we do not know the divine in our stance, but on our knees.

Yet this person diving even deeper posed a question to me. They asked if I believed that pain was the only way, and that surely we can attain growth through joy and love, as what is really meant by the hand of the divine for us to experience in deeper states of heaven upon earth. They insisted they did not want any more pain in their life, and wanted to know the divine by a different vehicle. My reply to that was “Good luck with that” Continue reading
